| Q1.What is the likely date of Advertisement for the admission for IGRUA ? Ans. The Likely date of Advertisement for the admission is April - May 08. |

| Q3.Is there any coaching classed conducted by Defence Academy for Entrance Examination ? Ans. Yes, we conduct the Regular classroom Coaching for Entrance Examination by IGRUA (Fees would be Rs 14500 including Food and accommodation 45 days course starting from 15 June to 31 July 2008) We supply study material for each and every candidate. A visit To Air Force Station Sular is arranged at the end of the course. |
| Q4. What are the qualifications required for applying for Ab-initio to CPL and PPL to CPL Course ? Ans. For both the courses the educational qualification is 10+2 or equivalent with aggregate of 55% in Physics and math’s for General Category Candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates. For PPL to CPL you should be a holder of current PPL from DGCA. |
| Q5. Which all are the centers where written examination is conducted ? Ans. Examination shall be conducted in the following cities – Lucknow, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta & Chennai. Addresses of the Examination Centers shall be notified. |

| Q6. Any loan facility provided by the Akademi ? Ans. No, Akademi does not provide loans, however interested can raise loans through their Banks on their own. |
| Q7. What is the minimum age limit for applying the course. ? Ans. Minimum age limit the course is 17 years. |

Q8. What is the maximum age limit for issue of CPL ? Ans. There is no age limit for issue of CPL . |

Q 9. What is the Fee Structure ? Ans. The training fee is as follows : (i) Ab-initio to CPL Course : Rs. 21.50 lacs (Training Fee) (ii) PPL to CPL Course : Rs. 16.50 lacs (Training Fee) |

Q10. Is the option of B. Sc. (Aviation) available ? Ans. Since the Course duration is being reduced to one year the option of B. Sc.(Aviation) may not be available to the new inductees. |

Q11. Is there any Hostel accommodation available ? Ans . Yes, Akademi has sufficient furnished hostel accommodation at nominal charges for its students. The Girl’s Hostel is separate from the Boy’s Hostel. |
| Q12. What is the Course intake ? Ans. Akademi shall select 100 candidates a year. Candidates shall be inducted in a phased manner every second month from November’ 08 onwards. |

Q13. What is the syllabus for examination ? Ans. Knowledge of Physics, Maths and English upto 10+2 standard required along with general awareness of current affairs and normal reasoning. Defence Academy Teaches the Students all the four subjects 5 days a week for 45 days.We conduct regular mock tests, Full test is conducted druing the last three weeks of training. |

Q14. Is there any question bank of last years question papers for entrance examination ? Ans. There is no question bank . Old question papers are not provided as per rule. |

Q15. What is the reservation of seats for SC/ST Candidates? Ans. Out of 100, 15 seats are reserved for SC and 7/ 8 seats for ST Candidates. |
