Born not before 02 Jul 1999 and not after 01 Jul 2000. For admission to class IX

Born not before 02 Jul 1996 and not after 01 Jul 1997 and studying in class VIII or IX.

CURRICULUM: 10 + 2 System of the CBSE (New Delhi)

DATE OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION: 03 Jan 2010 (SUNDAY) EXAMINATION CENTRES: Please ref to respective State Sainik School Prospectus Subject to sufficient number of candidates)

TOTAL NUMBER OF VACANCIES: Class VI : 75

Class I X : 10 ADMISSION: The school does not patronise any coaching institutes/agencies

and the admissions will be made strictly in accordance with the Merit in the entrance examination, interview and subsequent

medical fitness of candidates.

15 % for SC and 7.5% for ST, Out of remaining, 25% for sons of Defence and ex-Defence Personnel.

SCHOLARSHIPS: Different types of Scholarships are given by Central/State Governments depending upon the Parents’ monthly income. Details are in the Prospectus.

PROSPECTUS & APPLICATION FORM: Prospectus, Application form and old Question Papers can be obtained from the Principal, Sainik School ( State) on a crossed Demand Draft payable at _____ drawn in favour of “Principal, Sainik School ______” or on postal order as per the following details:

(i) By Registered Post - Rs 375/- (DD Only)

By Hand - Rs 325/- (Cash or DD)

(ii) For SC/ST candidates By Registered Post - Rs 275/- (DD only)

By Hand - Rs 225/- (Cash or DD)

(iii) Application form can be downloaded from the school

website www.sainikschooltvm.org. Filled applications in such cases are to be submitted

to this office alongwith registration fee of Rs 375/-

(for General and Defence) and Rs 275/- (for SC/ST).

On receipt of filled application, prospectus and model

question papers, will be despatched to the applicant.
